The Southern Accent Chapter of ABWA (serving Dyersburg and the surrounding area) lives this mission with a passion. "The Mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition. What could be better than that? Register your booth now to make sure you're part of the FUN!" And when it's over, ABWA will get to donate all the proceeds to the DSCC scholarship fund. And with the addition of complimentary shuttle service and onsite childcare, this promises to be the best Girls' Night Out yet. They always bring out their best and have incredible deals for attendees. I can't wait to see the new products and services the vendors will be showcasing. Heather Balthrop, ABWA's GNO Committee Chairman shared, "It's so exciting to be planning ABWA's 5th Annual Girls' Night Out FUNdraiser! This is truly one of the most fun nights of shopping in the West Tennessee area. This year's planning committee has added many new and exciting elements to the evening including complimentary shuttle service and onsite childcare. After the Early Bird deadline, exhibit space may still be reserved for $60. Vendors who register prior to Apwill receive Early Bird pricing of only $50.
Vendor registrations are now being accepted, and all vendors are encouraged to register early this year to guarantee their space at the event. This event is the chapter's annual fundraiser that has raised almost $13,000 over the past four years to help Dyersburg State Community College students achieve their educational goals.

Vendor Registrations Are Now Being Accepted for ABWA's 5th Annual Girls' Night Out The attendance for the evening was record breaking and we look forward to sharing another wonderful evening with you next year. We also want to thank everyone who was able to attend the banquet and our sponsors for their continued contributions to our events and programs. We appreciate the hard work, dedication and service each of you put forth for our Chamber and community. The Chamber would like to thank everyone for their nominations and congratulate those who were nominated and those that won on their accomplishments over the last year. The winners and their photographs are shown below. To bring the evening to a close, the Director of Downtown Development, Steve Guttery, announced the 2014 award winners. Once the gavel had been passed between the outgoing and incoming Chairman, the Guest Speaker, Vallie Collins, spoke about her experience on the flight that crashed into the Hudson River and how it changed her life. Both Larry White and Danny Watson took a few moments to talk about the successes from the last two years and the goals for the years to come for the Chamber of Commerce. The evening began with the Chairman's reception followed by dinner from Lupo's Italian Steakhouse. On Saturday, Januwe gathered at the Lannom Center to celebrate our members, accomplishments, the Outgoing Chairman, Larry White, and Incoming Chairman, Danny Watson, and all the award nominees and recipients for 2014.
